Managing the Display

Throughout a live event, you manage everything from the Control Panel.

Switching Speakers

1. Go to the Control Panel
2. Click the new speaker you want to show
3. Click Publish
4. The podium screen updates within a few seconds

Changing the Background

To swap the background mid-event:

1. In the Control Panel, go to the Background section
2. Upload a new image or select from existing ones
3. Click Publish

Break / Intermission Screen

To show an intermission screen between sessions:

• Create a “Break” speaker entry (name: “BREAK”, photo: your break graphic)
• When intermission starts, select this entry and Publish
• When the session resumes, switch to the next real speaker

Tips for Smooth Events

For smooth transitions:

• Publish speaker changes a few seconds before the actual handover
• Keep the Control Panel open on a separate screen or device

Technical preparation:

• Disable screen savers and sleep mode on podium devices
• Test all podium connections before the event starts
• Have a backup device or laptop ready

Ending the Event

When the event is over:

1. Go to the Events page
2. Find the event
3. Set status to COMPLETED

The podium screen will automatically go to a blank or standby state.
