Events
Section titled “Events”
Everything in MeetCue revolves around an event. An event represents a conference, seminar, panel, workshop, or any organized meeting.
What’s in an Event?
Section titled “What’s in an Event?”| Field | Description |

| Name | The event title (e.g., “Tech Summit 2025”) |
| Description | Brief description of the event |
| Start Date | When the event begins |
| End Date | When the event ends |
| Status | The current stage of the event |
| Speakers | Speakers attached to this event |
| Images | Background or presentation visuals |
Event Statuses
Section titled “Event Statuses”An event can be in one of these states:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| DRAFT | Being prepared, not yet published |
| SCHEDULED | Date set, coming up soon |
| ACTIVE | Currently running — can be shown on podium screens |
| COMPLETED | Event has ended |
| CANCELLED | Event was cancelled |
To display an event on a podium screen, its status must be ACTIVE.
Events and Podiums
Section titled “Events and Podiums”Events are not tied to a specific podium. You choose which event to display on which podium from the Control Panel. This means you can:
- Show the same event on multiple podiums simultaneously
- Run different events in different rooms at the same time
