Troubleshooting

Symptoms: You clicked Publish in the Control Panel but the podium screen didn’t change.

Solutions:

  1. Check internet connection — Make sure the podium device has internet access
  2. Refresh the page — On the podium device, press F5 or Ctrl+R
  3. Wait a moment — Updates can take up to 60 seconds; give it some time
  4. Check the URL — Is the correct podium URL open on the device?
  5. Hard refresh — In Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+R to clear cache and reload

Symptoms: The Control Panel page appears blank or shows an error.

Solutions:

  1. Session may have expired — Sign out and sign back in
  2. Refresh the page — Press F5
  3. Clear browser cacheCtrl+Shift+Delete → Clear cached data
  4. Try a different browser — Chrome is recommended

Symptoms: You registered but the verification email didn’t arrive.

Solutions:

  1. Check your spam folder — Email filters may have redirected it
  2. Wait 5 minutes — Email delivery can sometimes be delayed
  3. Resend it — Use the “Resend verification email” option on the login page
  4. Check the email address — Did you enter the correct address during registration?

Symptoms: You enter your email and password but login fails.

Solutions:

  1. Check the password — It’s case-sensitive
  2. Reset your password — Use “Forgot Password” to set a new one
  3. 2FA issue — If 2FA is enabled, make sure you’re entering the current code (30-second validity)
  4. Use a backup code — If you can’t access your authenticator app, use one of your backup codes
  5. Email not verified — If you haven’t verified your email yet, do that first

Symptoms: The podium URL doesn’t load on the display device.

Solutions:

  1. Check the URL — Make sure the full URL was copied (should start with https://)
  2. Internet connection — Verify the device has internet access
  3. Is the podium active? — Check in the dashboard that the podium is enabled
  4. Try Chrome — Other browsers may have compatibility issues

Symptoms: You get an error when trying to upload a photo.

Solutions:

  1. File size — Photo must be under 5 MB
  2. File format — Only JPG and PNG are supported
  3. Stable connection — Make sure your internet connection is stable during upload
  4. Update your browser — Use the latest version of Chrome
