Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Podium Screen Not Updating
Section titled “Podium Screen Not Updating”Symptoms: You clicked Publish in the Control Panel but the podium screen didn’t change.
Solutions:
- Check internet connection — Make sure the podium device has internet access
- Refresh the page — On the podium device, press
F5orCtrl+R - Wait a moment — Updates can take up to 60 seconds; give it some time
- Check the URL — Is the correct podium URL open on the device?
- Hard refresh — In Chrome, press
Ctrl+Shift+Rto clear cache and reload
Control Panel Won’t Load
Section titled “Control Panel Won’t Load”Symptoms: The Control Panel page appears blank or shows an error.
Solutions:
- Session may have expired — Sign out and sign back in
- Refresh the page — Press
F5 - Clear browser cache —
Ctrl+Shift+Delete→ Clear cached data - Try a different browser — Chrome is recommended
Verification Email Not Received
Section titled “Verification Email Not Received”Symptoms: You registered but the verification email didn’t arrive.
Solutions:
- Check your spam folder — Email filters may have redirected it
- Wait 5 minutes — Email delivery can sometimes be delayed
- Resend it — Use the “Resend verification email” option on the login page
- Check the email address — Did you enter the correct address during registration?
Can’t Log In
Section titled “Can’t Log In”Symptoms: You enter your email and password but login fails.
Solutions:
- Check the password — It’s case-sensitive
- Reset your password — Use “Forgot Password” to set a new one
- 2FA issue — If 2FA is enabled, make sure you’re entering the current code (30-second validity)
- Use a backup code — If you can’t access your authenticator app, use one of your backup codes
- Email not verified — If you haven’t verified your email yet, do that first
Podium URL Not Opening
Section titled “Podium URL Not Opening”Symptoms: The podium URL doesn’t load on the display device.
Solutions:
- Check the URL — Make sure the full URL was copied (should start with
https://) - Internet connection — Verify the device has internet access
- Is the podium active? — Check in the dashboard that the podium is enabled
- Try Chrome — Other browsers may have compatibility issues
Speaker Photo Not Uploading
Section titled “Speaker Photo Not Uploading”Symptoms: You get an error when trying to upload a photo.
Solutions:
- File size — Photo must be under 5 MB
- File format — Only JPG and PNG are supported
- Stable connection — Make sure your internet connection is stable during upload
- Update your browser — Use the latest version of Chrome
